The Alumhurst Hotel is centrally situated in the heart of Blackpool and has been owned and personally managed by the Francis family for 33 successful years. Our spacious, ground-floor dining room is equipped to serve you to a very high standard. Sample our delicious home cooked food, professionally prepared by our chef. We offer a very varied menu and are happy to cater for guests with special dietary requirements and our chef also offers a special selection for children. Our dining room staff are quick, friendly and efficient and are only too happy to oblige you where they can, to make your dining experience a pleasure.

Enjoy a drink in our comfortable lounge bar. We are open each evening from 7:00pm till late. We offer a wide choice of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks, with small dance floor, CD player plus singalong tapes, juke box, pool table and dart board. Cards, dominoes, bingo and some childrens games available on request. Our guests are welcome to invite non-residents to join them for a drink with our prior consent.

We have a small lift that services all bedroom floors, but due to differing floor levels the Alumhurst is not suitable for wheelchair-dependant guests, although any guests who can manage to leave their wheelchairs in reception will be offered any help they need.

We are two minutes walk away from the Winter Gardens Ballrooms and Theatres Complex, making us an ideal choice for guests attending political, business and sporting conferences, British and International Dance Festivals, Brass Band Concerts, International Darts and the many other annual events that take place here.

All of our 32 en suite bedrooms for 1, 2, 3 or 4 guests are fitted to the highest standard, have been upgraded recently and are beautifully decorated and furnished.

The Alumhurst Hotel Blackpool now boasts Retro 70's bedrooms which will transport guests back to the time of wind up alarm clocks, Goblin Teasmades and all things nostalgic & 70'S.

All of our bedrooms have central heating, flatscreen TVs and tea and coffee making facilities, serviced daily free of charge, for your greater comfort. Your private shower room is fully tiled, and includes toilet, hand wash basin and shaver point. Towels and soap are provided. Our housekeeping staff take pride in offering you a spotlessly clean and pleasant bedroom to use during your holiday. Smoking and non-smoking bedrooms are available in strictly separate areas.
