Blackpool Tower
Blackpool Tower is possibly one of the most well known attractions Blackpool has to offer, standing at an impressive 158m high (518 feet & 9 inches). It was inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris and currently holds a membership to the World Federation of Great Towers.
As an eye catching talisman for the coastal town it marks the location of a number of attraction held within its walls which include:
- The Blackpool Tower Eye
- Charlie Cairoli Exhibition
- Tower Ballroom
- Tower Circus
- Aquarium
- Jungle Jim’s Towering Adventureland
- Tower Lounge Bar
Back on 10th & 11th April 2000 comedian Peter Kay performed his show in the Circus Arena which was a major success and was later released as Live at the Top of the Tower.
